Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce radiation noise in a high frequency range by specifying the weight per unit area in a belly range between a tread center and a point separating from the tread center to a tread end side by a specific distance. SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire 11 provided with a pair of bead parts 13, a side wall part 14, and a tread part 15, the weight per unit area in a belly region (a) between a tread center S and a point M separated therefrom to a tread end T side by 0.6X is set to 1.0 time or more of the weight of the unit area in a knot region (d) between the point M and the tread end T. The weight per unit area in a belly region (b) between a point N separated from the tread end T to a separation point R side by 0.2Y and a point P separated by 0.5Y is set to 1.0 time or more of the weight per unit area in the knot region (e) between the tread end T and the point N and a knot region (f) between the point P and a point Q separated from the tread end T to the separation point R side by O.7Y.
