(57)【要約】 【課題】 スワールコントロールバルブの作動時の壁流 を防止する。 【解決手段】 吸気通路11に臨んで配設された燃料噴 射弁20と、燃料噴射弁20と対向する位置よりも吸気 通路11の上流に配設されるとともに、吸気通路11に 回転軸13を介して回動可能に支持される吸気制御弁1 2と、燃料噴射弁20に面した側の吸気制御弁12に形 成されて閉弁時に吸気を通す切り欠き部12aと、燃料 噴射弁20より下流の吸気通路11に面して開口すると ともに、燃料噴射弁20からの燃料噴霧30を取り囲む ように空気を噴射する空気導入路7と、空気導入路7へ 空気を供給する空気供給手段5とを備える。
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fuel spray from colliding with the internal wall of an intake passage by supplying air into an air lead-in passage opened facing the intake passage downstream of a fuel injection valve so as to inject the air in such a way as to surround the fuel spray from the fuel injection valve. SOLUTION: A circular opening part 7a of an air lead-in passage 7 is opened with a specified space to an opening part 21a of a fuel lead-in port 21 in such a way as to surround the fuel lead-in port 21. The air lead-in passage 7 is partitioned parallel with the fuel lead-in port 21 and disposed almost parallel with an axis 20c of a fuel injection valve 20. Air injected into an intake port 4 from an air supply device 5 through the air lead-in passage 7 comes to have almost semicircular cross section from the opening part 7a and flows into a combustion chamber while surrounding fuel spray 31. The injected air 32 flows in between the internal wall of an intake passage 11 and the fuel spray 31 and is injected along the axis 20c of the fuel injection valve 20. The fuel spray 41 deflected by intake flow 30 is thereby prevented from colliding with the internal wall of the intake passage 11.
